The Regional Council of Ile-de-France has produced a large volume of photographic and audiovisual contents over the years with the collaboration of Photographers' agencies, independent photographers, media companies of production and communication agencies. They wished to rationalize and optimize the management of this media assets.
To achieve this goal, the Communication Department wanted to set up a platform to store, manage and browse these photos and videos. Thanks to the responsive design of Opsis Media, their digital assets can be browsed from computers, tablets or even smartphones.
This new media library hosted by Opsomai in its datacenters located in the suburb of Paris (France) proposes more than 50.000 photos and 150 videos that deal with various aspects of the Region's life. Users can browse the online database with the full-text search engine or through various indexed access (topics, places…), watch photos and videos, select some of them in their cart and then order their cart to download the corresponding media files in various formats, according to their access rights.
